SMACROSSOVER
Indicator | Usage | Description | Example | smacrossover | (smacrossover[x,y,n]) , where x and y are positive integers and n is optional and represents the number of days ago the result is computed (n=0 is the default value and represents the current end of day, n=1 is the previous end of day, etc.). | Returns a 1 if the x-day simple moving average of day n crosses above the y-day simple moving average. Introduction:
| Simple moving average cross overs occur when one SMA line crosses above or below another SMA line. The 'smacrossover' indicator is used in indicator formula construction to narrow the stock pre-screener results to include only those stocks that have a simple moving average crossover restricted to the parameters set for the smacrossover indicator. Refer to the SMA indicator for more information about simple moving averages.
